Back in 97 when everybody was talking about "the goldilocks world economy" (that was a sure sign for the Asian debacle -g- and when I started getting bearish, wish I had lived in Hong Kong at that time I wud have been right -g-)

there was some good pressure on rates.

the real goldilocks economy FOR THE U.S and U.S. equities is for the rest of the world to be in the dumps, then they send us all their capital (flight to quality) and dump cheap goods to fuel our consumer economy.

Now the return of the goldilocks world economy might bring out the bears -g-
