Tippet:

Agree with you that they are covered. Also agree that the pros are being a bit slow. In the back of my mind are two thoughts :

- the fund managers are up to their ears in this stock. Quarter end is only a few weeks away. Might make more sense to stay put until after month end, so that the "mark-to-market" shows the expected heavy exposure to stocks, with the "church" stock heavily and prominently featured. It might also seem wise for them to spend some bucks to hold it up for that period. The thinking might be that there will be plenty of time to take one's leave after month end. This of course would be a disastrous strategy if more than a few members of the herd are thinking likewise. (g)

- There might also be some fund managers who see Intel benefiting in April as a result of selling off its MU position and booking a big profit. That too is a dumb idea, as the expected profit melts as MU's stock price comes off. With both TXN and INTC competing as sellers at the bid, and with memory prices continuing to tank, (which will bring in more sellers), MU is a gift to the Vaderians.

I view these two stocks as low risk/high reward situations for the next two or three months for the bears.

Best, Earlie
