A young girl is impregnated and fears parental wrath. She seeks an abortion. I would treat this as voluntary manslaughter, with extenuating circumstances being brought taken into account in sentencing recommendations. This is off the top of my head, and I will not be bullied into giving anymore when one example of my reasoning will suffice. I would treat the abortionist more harshly...Yes, Johnathan, I think that justice requires taking into account extenuating and aggravating circumstances, and that justice must sometimes be tempered with mercy. That is called moral maturity.
