<< My personal belief is that Natural Gas will outperform Oil, Gold, Coffee or Pork Bellies in the coming year.>>

If you think nat gas is going to outperform, why don't you buy a driller with lots of jackups like Global or Ensco?

Fixer, As Mr.Dodd said in 1908, "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king!" So long as you have a consistent trading strategy, then you will do well, whether you go long, short, plays options, etc.

There's one guy at work, an Electrical Technician in my Company- works an oil field in the middle of nowhere for the last 18 years- does nothing in investing but trade the company's stock for the last 18 years in his savings plan maybe once/week -literally nothing else. Salary never has gone over $42,000/year I'd bet- started at $17,000/year. Only one year of college at a JC. But he has traded his savings plan now to over $800,000 in cash- and he's only 41 years old. He has only one investment drum-but he bangs it both hard and well....

I'm personally keeping an eye on the gold stock index, trying to fight its way out of the fourth down wave in a long, long bear market....
