Acompora... I remember him mentioning a stock correction on CNBC earlier in the year 1999.. DOW took a hit almost exactly where he predicted... albeit a very short lived correction...

Do I think AOL should replace HP in the DOW?

I hate AOL to be included in DOW as it will freeze its astronomical
rise.
Though it is good in the long run they should do it after two more splits.
I won't mind if they include in year 2000 March-April to signal that new
era has begun and that DOW will lead accordingly.

Acampora said the stock market could be at the start of a ''mega market'' lasting 12 to 15 years and reminiscent of boom markets at, for instance, the end of the First and Second World Wars.

Looks like Acampora has been reading Harry Dent's "Roaring 2000's." I recommend that book to anyone who is long on AOL and on the internet in general.
