Look in Control Panel, Internet, Connection tab, check if "connect to click on the Internet using a modem is selected. Then check the Settings...

A place to start!
Good Luck

Hi PetroLou,

That problem sounds really familiar. Whenever I re-install my ISP program, it configures the DUN to pop up when a connection is requested through the browser or mail program. If I install it manually, that doesn't happen.

The browser problem is fairly simple; They're configured to automatically load a page when you start them up. If there is no connection active, you'll get that "Server not found" message. Edit your preferences so that the home page is "blank".

I'll fool around today and have an answer for you on the DUN question later tonight.

Cheers,

Richard
