<< In the grand scheme of things, small anecdotes can mean nothing or everything.>>

Adam, I'm with you. To use an example from one of our favorite threads, does it mean something for Apple's quarter that quite a few people I know love the new iMacs. Probably, but maybe not.

Anyway, I just read the Fortune i2 article (Apple has the "Yum" ad on the back cover btw) and remembered that i2 has a new strategic partnership with one of my favorite stock market values, TAVA.

go2net.newsalert.com

My question for this thread is whether i2 might be interested in acquiring TAVA at some point. TAVA will probably make .60-.80 next year so I'm pretty sure a deal would be accretive. I believe TAVA will be paying off the last of its big debts by this summer. Has i2 been picking up smaller companies? What kind of prices has it been paying?

I'll have to look over some previous posts and take a look at why the company wanted the recent (canceled) debt offering, etc.

Thanks,
Marc
