Zacks have published the following. But I think these were already announced last week. Presumably they will lower the Zacks consensus figure and make it easier for CPQ to meet or exceed.

Note that EM had said that the one-off Brazil devaluation issue might cost 2 cents and the soft January sales might cost 1 cent for a total of 3 cents for the quarter.

ING has translated this to 6 cents for the quarter and 11 cents for the year. SG COWEN has translated it into 15 cents for the year. Most other analysts adjusted by between 3-5 cents for the quarter. They can't all be right.

ESTIMATE REVISIONS:

CPQ: ING BARING FURM decreased estimate for fiscal year ending
12/99 from $1.84 to $1.73 on 02/26/99
CPQ: ING BARING FURM decreased estimate for quarter ending
03/99 from $0.41 to $0.35 on 02/26/99
CPQ: ING BARING FURM decreased estimate for quarter ending
06/99 from $0.45 to $0.40 on 02/26/99

CPQ: SG COWEN SECUR. decreased estimate for fiscal year ending
12/99 from $1.80 to $1.65 on 03/08/99
