I can't quote model numbers, but it is range of Alphas, from low end to high end, depending on the filer model.

It is worthwhile to note, however, that the ONTAP OS code is very portable. In the previous filer lineup, the low end ran on Pentiums and the high end ran on Alpha. NTAP will be able to move to the next logical choice (ie, MERCED) with no problem. Legend has it that the migration from Pentium (or 486) to Alpha took one engineer a weekend to accomplish. Good software engineering from the beginning.
