Softechie,

<<expert advice>>
LOL, I will try my best!

Elcom, is the only small cap stock presently in my portfolio. WHY? cause I strongly believe this will be a great turnaround story. Just like AAPL, NOVL, NSCP and PSIX are major turnarounds.

Elcom's, sales growth is low in the record of the company, but higher than last quarter that had been reported, but then again failing the rising sales growth test. Their receivables are up, diminishing the chance of a further increase in sales growth.

NOW though the PICTURE is different, the NEW e-commerce site and the new auction site that Elcom will launch within the next few weeks, will generate more CASH, and will not interfere in their primary business. Elcom will generate much MORE REVENUE and they will
(should) decrease their accounts receivable.
The stock price should BENEFIT handsomely based on this strategy. Usually, a good turnaround takes time, and only time will tell.

What they must do though, is IMPROVE their web site, as mentioned in my previous posts.
Make some deals with some major Internet content leaders like AOL,
C-Net, Infospace and some others. They should strongly focus on how too generate more traffic "eyeballs" to Elcom.com web site.
Also, what is extremely interesting, and has caught my attention, is the accumulation in the stock, and I consider this a major plus+.
What we also need, and this is what really puzzles me is "coverage" Elcom absolutely NEEDS analyst's coverage!!
As for the losses that Elcom is due to report of 7.5 million, I believe it is already build in the stock price, since it was announced on Dec 31st/98.
I'm sure the financial institutions whom have recently increased their stake too 9.01%, have already taken the current 4Q charges into account. I guess, they see value here at these discount levels! My question is why hasn't Elcom released their earnings yet? anyway, we shall see.

If you are a true long term investor and see a great turnaround story here, as long as management plays their cards right. YOU are holding a major huge WINNER.
I guess time will tell!

I'm holding on elco for the long run.

best regards
Giota
