You may well be very correct however, my experience is that the effort should be on the ODIS to go work with SUN. If you have a great product you need to flaunt it and not wait for the "phone" to ring and hope it is SUN calling!

On a another SUN announcement, can you tell me if ODIS has any components in the following? If not I wonder why not.

Sun's deal with Sybase is non-exclusive, and Sun hopes to cut deals with other database vendors as well, said Mark Tolliver, president of Sun's Consumer and Embedded Systems unit.

So it's non-exclusive. Sun already does business with ODIS, or at least did do business with ODIS a few months ago. If one of these alliances fades into oblivion (as they often do) there is never a press release.
