Registered Developer Network (VRDN; visio.com, a free online resource and
community for developers of custom solutions based on Visio and Microsoft(R) technologies. VRDN
is offered as part of the revamped Visio Developer Network Web site (formerly known as the Visio
Solutions Development Web site or "devweb"), which has recently undergone major navigational and
graphics upgrades. Developers can continue to find general news and resources on the Visio
Developer Network, while VRDN offers advanced, premium technical content, including live,
interactive broadcasts, access to tips and tricks, tools and samples, online developer training,
discounts, case studies and many more valuable resources.

Since its debut on Feb. 26, more than 900 platform developers have become members of VRDN,
representing companies such as The Boeing Company, Xerox Corp., BankAmerica Corp., Motorola
Inc. and Bell Atlantic Corp. In addition to Web-based benefits, developers who register now can also
receive a free Visio 5.0 evaluation kit (including test drive) and a Visio 2000 development beta CD
(Visio's next-generation graphics software technology engine), which will be made widely available
beginning March 25 at Visio's annual developer conference, Envision!
