I remember your comments about gold & oil and which one would come out of the trench of death first. And I remember clearly your statement that oil would move harder and fastercc..

And lo and behold, oil is up nearly 50% off of the lows! If gold had done the same, it would be well over $400 & the mining shares would be on fire!!

A bold futures/options position in oil initiated a short while ago would be worth quite a pile of cash.

George, Gold has been in a major bear market with four strong down waves and with efforts at retracement at each wave. If we break out of the downward trend here in gold, then I believe that that augurs well for oil too, as gold traditionally leads all commodities in upturns
