From the first post on the thread in Feb. 1997:

"...Periphonics (PERI) took a major hit today because they stated that they would not meet estimates for the quarter. Estimates are for .22 but PERI said they will make somewhere between .15 to .22. Closed down 11 3/4 at 11 1/4. PERI stated that the future looks good. The huge drop today seems like an overreaction. Any thoughts? - Tom"

Sounds familiar huh ? Two years later we are in an even worse position. No contract announcements for almost a month. Guess those "imminent" orders still haven't closed. 4th Q starting to scare the hell out of me.

John, you still hanging in there? Approaching book at $ 5.78 with around $ 1.75/share in cash.

Can't be much more downside here...can there?

As my basis is substantially higher, am averaging down here as I free up cash.
