El: When is a warning not a warning? It is a strange game. Analysts make faulty, overly optimistic predictions, even in the face of cautionary comments from a company. If the company corrects the predictions downward it is called a warning - even if the company announces record sales and revenue increases in the 20% to 30% range, and cost-cutting measures and other plans which will increase the bottom line going forward and adjust to new market conditions.

I hope that history will show that CPQ and HWP, GTW and DELL's greater reliance on the internet direct model has contributed to Ingram Micro's woes as it contributes to the problems faced by other re-sellers.
