cazz, kat & all,

I am in the process of making a series of posts - I will be referring to them when I post my valuation model.

Taking 12 (closing price as of 11/27/1998) is incorrect. Look at the volume on that day - people were already talking about the IPO hype. You will have to go back a few days to get the pre-IPO-hype price. I had posted data only from Nov 1 as I did not want to post data from the Aug-Oct period when the "sky" was falling.

You should look at the historical data before the volume exploded. You can also go back a few thousand posts to see where/when the hype started.

IMO, the argument should be whether to take 3 or 5 as the valid number.

You can use the link (http://www.edreyfus.com/pbscgi/hstqtetd) to get historical data for the last 1 year

Regards.
