Joan, What a great post. It is interesting to hear how the art of market sign reading is passed down through the generations. Last night I was perhaps driving a little faster than I should of been and a damn cow elk walked out into the road.
Almost a disaster but thanks to some stunt driving, I missed her. Even with a Blazer if you hit a 700lb cow elk you have problems, like an elk through your windshield. Sure enough two of my boys, CNET and GNET got hit today. A clear market sign, the cow elk.
We may do 10,000 in the AM if Europe is as strong as I think it will be . I'll have to keep a really good eye on the Yellow Dogs tonight. Remember the big October crash a couple years ago? The old Yellow Dog gave the sign that night (belly up with lips and body parts trying to defy gravity). He then passed wind that caused me to open windows on a cold October night (about 9,000 ft elevation). My Wife ran out of the living room.
Well I sold everything in the morning and within several hours I had saved many thousands, the market got BILLY JACKED in a major way. It pays to be able to read the signs. BLUE
