ph, if you parse that statement out "the point where analysts were expecting a loss" could be any point in time that the consensus was for a loss.

As far as the second part:
Obviously the further along the quarter you go, the higher your shipments are - they're cumulative.

Using reasonable assumptions for ASP's, GM's, shipment growth, etc. I think they can post a slight profit, even considering the MUEI.
But I don't think their 3Q will be as positive from an ASP, GM or shipment standpoint.

this is meaningless drivel. they had shipments down 10% and didn't say thing. now shipments are up (down less?????) and unspecified amount and it is breaking news? hello?

and, at what point is the point where losses were expected? you mean that output was higher at the end of the q compared to the beginning? now that is breaking news in the dram industry.

he acts like he is speaking to dopes. well... maybe he has a point ;-)
