Bryan, Believe me, I have read the MSFT whitepaper that compares NDS to AD. It is riddled with FUD, but it is written so well that anyone with little understanding of DS technology would actually believe the whitepaper. In fact they identify components/technologies within NDS that are benefits and spin them to be failures in NDS. Some of the reading on this whitepaper was so wild that I had to mention it to the NOVL teams. They stated that they read it as well and know what MSFT is up to. They have responded with their whitepaper long time ago and they will not engage in any other mud-slinging with a MSFT product - that is to-date only chartware. NOVL's NDS proves itself every day of the week for the past several years for millions of customers and their organizations. MSFT's AD in the whitepaper is all based on theory until they can actually put out a product. I will have to respond to you later on this whole issue you have asked me about catalogs. I have a report to get out the door today (TECH2000 - can you believe it? real work always gets in the way of talking on SI - DAMN) so I dont have the time right now. By the way, while your waiting, answer the MSFT solution to this. MSFT has no experience in the issues, problems, and solutions that a real world DS has to go through in order to provide the full-features and scaleability that NDS currently does. We'll all see some day how well MSFT AD can deliver on real-world issues. Thanks for the conversation though. I do enjoy this. Its my pet technology. Toy
