Mag-high's yes, at least for the most part, but not necessarily circular ("bulls-eyes"). Some are oblate, elliptical, etc. some are of slightly larger dimensions, and (mostly)within same geological domain near the gneissic margin with the Troilus belt to the north.

It has been widely reported that some of the reconn. work in the area was by Monopros, while exploring various circular mag.-highs for kimberlite potential. As per norm, there is no public record of this work but that the claims were all allowed to lapse at the first renewal should tell us that none were considered promising (for diamonds) back in the early 90's. Most of these now expired claims, staked as square blocks back then, were actually still shown on the claim maps in the middle of January which made our job pretty easy.

Regards,

GJM
