Ice, All I know, when we were registering my funds, I was grilled like I was a suspect in the rape of a convent of nuns. Not only by the SEC, but by the state commissioners. I can't even imagine the response if I'd mentioned robbing a bank. <g> The same wasn't true when I was a tech analyst, or when I worked for the insurance co. or the hedge fund. But mutual fund portfolio management was a bugger of investigation. The odd thing being, the FBI had given me top secret code word security clearances in 1966 and vetted them for years. The mutual fund process was much more gruelling and intensive. Of course, it could have been because I was planning to use options and futures and we know the kind of person who uses options and futures. <g>
