Well, see, up til yesterday I never even heard of a Merit Semi-Almost-Didn't-Quite-Make-It Finalist; and it turns out you have to be one to be on this board.

But that's okay; I might have to be employed if I was smart.

Oh. Thanks.

I hate to suggest a stock, but I'm gonna anyway. NMGC. These guys make money, are so far ahead technology wise it's ridiculous, and are cheaper than leaves in Coby's yard. Due your own damn DD and don't blame me when they have a heart attack. But they've already had it, for no known reason. (The stock, I mean. The company has never made a single mistake. Oh ~ a guy parked in the wrong spot.) PE is like 9. They had 93% increase in pre-tax earnings last year. Two awards from the Fabless (! I love that word) Semiconductor Association (like 250 members) for best financially run company.

I been researching these guys and their competition for a few months. Yes, they make the dreaded graphics chips; but they are a whole, whole, lot more. Intel is currently nowhere near them; and I seriously doubt they will get this kind of stuff on the main chip. Nope. They won't. Because NMGC builds them with embedded DRAM. Which tech can be used for a bazillion other things, like waterskiing even, and these guys are there first. Their focus is on ultralite, ultra low-power, hi-tech notebooks. And if ya don't know, the desktop is on the way out of the mainstream. Even Intel figured that out. Intel bought Chips and Technology to try to conquer graphics, and they're either bankrupt or wheezing. INTC expects the mix to switch from 80% desktop to 80% notebook. NMGC is in the majority of notebooks now. (It would be much easier for INTC to buy them, imho.) ATI can't match their power consumption. If you read about the stuff they're developing now, associative processing, it will do something. Uhm. Dazzle? Boggle? No, that might be rude. Make you think of science fiction? Yah. That's good. It's like science fiction. And these guys DELIVER. Their truck is in the driveway right now. I got in partly because I'm looking for something longer term and I expect them to break out of their range this year. These guys were the first to integrate memory and logic on a chip, which is complex. Hoo boy, is it. Tiny, too. But nothing like what they're working on. So they have a corny name. So does Dell. Which, by the way, owns some of them. But Dell owns some of everything. The Magic stands for Memory And loGIC. They produced their first embebbed DRAM (NOT "integrated" DRAM - big diffrance) chip three years ago, and no one else is marketing them currently. I don't know if that's true of all fields, products; and everyone is working on them. But these guys concept and experience (and patents) are first. [Did I say do your own DD? Why am I yapping then? Huh?] I'm buying these guys for go-in-the-hospital-then-go-on-vacation investment, not trading. I don't care what you guys do. I don't like any of you anyhow.

I think it's bad karma to suggest stocks; I think you go to hell for it. I know I always have. Troot, mon. I've done it about three times. Disaster. Flames. Little beavers eating your head.

Where do you think I'm typing from? Huh?
