Sun:<<So someone thinks he can predict into 2001! Did he tell us in '96 what AMAT would earn today? Hell I'm even willing to accept a good prediction from 9 months ago. The bottom line is, the stock is priced for unprecedented growth. Such growth is possible, but not likely. So keep your ears to the ground for any fundamental news in the whole industry, and let TA guide your interpretation of the news.

Sun, actually predicting earnings in 2001 apparently was not challenge enough for this one analyst as he skipped that year and went right on to predict 2002!<gg>
Seriously though, I tend to agree with you that for me to buy more AMAT in the 60s, and specifically at this point in time, does not provide a good risk/reward scenario. Of course, two months ago I didn't think buying AMAT in the 50s was a good idea either until it went up to 71. I agree with you that trading it with a small portion of my position has been rewarding recently. Good luck to you. Jeff
