Microsoft in trouble over Year 2000 again

<< A spokesperson for Microsoft admitted that SP4 is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of this year but that even this "could slip".

Moores said: "With only nine months to go before the world collapses around our ears, Microsoft, more than anyone, has to be able to deliver Year 2000 fixes to a 99.99 per cent level of confidence. One thing to write software 20-40 years ago that didn't consider Y2K ... Another to ship products in 1998 that will not work 2 years later.

Pass the cans of tuna and spam please!
