Euro powers higher vs dollar as Lafontaine quits

NEW YORK, March 11 (Reuters) - The euro quickly gained more than a cent against the dollar after the German government
reported the resignation of Finance Minister Oskar Lafontaine.

The euro had been mired near $1.08, just above its record low, when the announcement fueled a rally within minutes to above
$1.09.

which POS? new perspective and growth fund were two main options in my old 401K, Mu was a top holding.
I found it interesting that CNBC described micron's announcement as a positive while Bloomberg described it as a warning.
