I am not really saying much of anything today. VBG I will say that at any time I could buy or sell xoma. That is a given. I do REALLY think (and do not know) that the chances of other news than meningo are much greater than the chances of news of meningo. Thats in my opinion. Just opinions. all disclaimers always.

Murphy said they have been accruing about 8 per week. He also says he thinks they need 4 weeks more to complete the trial. Would say perhaps this means 3 or 4 more deaths are required to reach the established level. We know it is not one more and probably not just two. When one assumes more than 3 or 4 then the time to conclusion of the trial moves beyond being close. I hope XOMA never again agrees with any DSMB to keep vital information from shareholders. I think one can demonstrate that the decision to do so cost XOMA millions in capital by having to finance at prices that were lower than they should have been.
