"Oracle has the chance to do the unthinkable, to dethrone Microsoft. I think that's possible." -- Ellison I might believe that it could be a possibility except for the fact that this guy is the biggest MSFT critic. His comments about MSFT break up suggest to me that he is terrified of MSFT. He was quoted as saying MSFt should be split up into 3 identical companies. If he stops making the MSFT breakup comments, then maybe I will give him a 1% chance of accomplishing this goal. Until he shuts up, they don't stand a chance---and are actually in fear of MSFT. That is what i read into his comments. BTW-I am still thinking of buying ORCL going into earnings which are expected to be very good---just want to see a drop in the stock first.
