Jesse - guess this all boils down to few pipes might have ejaculated some of their diamonds onto the surface topography and be laying around in pockets to be found. However, the pipelike signatures must be much easier to find than layered beds submersed by thick overburden.

What a challenge to find beds of layered kimberlite containing diamonds if they exist. Quite a new slant to all of this, wonder if John Auston will touch on this in his talk at the PDAC next week?
