the bankruptcy rates in the US are soaring...I wonder how much is due to stock market casino gambling. All this hype about slow world economy...the reality is that most of the world has opted out of the publicly-traded equity market...they can get fair market value for their commodities by barter, so there's no reason for this silly stock market and currency game. Our economy is hot money created by pumping up internet and brokerage stocks, and creating government jobs. IMHO we're in a heap of trouble. Half the stock market (about 5-6000 stocks) are microcap...check out OTCM to see how the typical small company is doing.
