Based on what little we know about subscribers and the revenue they generate, and based on the current cash burn rate.... would anyone care to speculate on how many portico subscribers it would take to reach break-even? From the current numbers and what they say about subscriptions, it seems impossible to ever reach $12-15M/quarter. Therefore, in order to ever reach break-even, the revenue MUST come from other sources, ala Intuit, Qwest, telcos (if they ever get on board), et al. It would seem prudent to try to reduce spending as much as possible, and Markman did say they have some discretionary reductions they might make. I hope so! Even with additional financing, the current burn rate simply can't be sustained.

Mark, Were you being sarcastic? Regarding those calls: what I know about options would fit in a very small tea cup. Someone here or on Yahoo posted a good analysis of what those calls would mean, but I can't find it. However, doesn't it mean that some is putting up 100K. For example, a person buying a 1000 AUG 5 calls stands to lose 100K, but will make 100K for every point the price is above 5 on the third Friday in August. Every third poster knows more about this than I do, so maybe we can get an explanation from a knowledgeable source?

I've very much appreciated all of your efforts on this board, please keep it up.
Best,
Papillon
