edamo...just to build on your thoughts...had I asked most of thread...when Dell had announced earnings, and closed at 80 that day....that, for the next 3-4 weeks...we will be bombarded by news that PC sales are sluggish (CNBC month-long special)....CPQ will supposedly "pre-warn"....Dell,Compaq will receive numerous analyst cuts..Gateway will tell Kumar "hold on partner, don't raise earnings estimates that high".....CompUSA, Ingram with terrible news...January, early Feb. sales (overall weak)......where do you think most observers would have thought the stock price would be (currently?)

I bet few would have guessed 85 (42.5 post-split)...I bet most would have guessed much lower...

Again, today's action odd (given that CPQ, Intel is up).....but really not a problem, like I said, unless Dell keeps falling into 40 and below range, and/or there is absolutely no reaction to the "non-news" from Intel...

Overall market looking really good...I would say that the "correction" is over...wouldnt you? <G>
