djane, thanks for posting the Boston Globe article. If we could get Simpson L. Garfinkel to write about 3G there would be a lot less confusion around here. Anyway, good catch.

djane, very cool post on the Q's upcoming suite of Phone Utilities. Thanks for lobbing it in. Not to be an ingrate, but I was kind of disappointed by the 99 name/number limitation. Why so skinny? If I dumped my Outlook Contacts file in there, we'd be on overload in a jif. I thought memory was cheap, ubiquitous and otherwise flowed like water. engineer, what's the haps?
Don't get me wrong: I'll be the first on my block to nab one of these little pups cuz playing with a phone touch pad is one lousy way to do data entry. Still, how in the world to select the precious "99"? I'd have to eliminate a lot of really neat buds, not to mention a very valuable collection of private contacts, mostly of the "for a good time call suzy @XXXYYYY", genre which have been carefully purloined over the years. Hey, I NEED some technohelp here, badly. Surfer Mike
