donkeyman, do I detect a little uncertainty creeping in and don't you believe that EBAY is going to grow in '99? >>If Bid.Com can hit that $50 million revenue and cut back on the marketing cost like Mr. Godin said, that $50 million revenue will be higher than EBAY's revenue of $47 million in 1998.

D-man... Check out Verticalnet - VERT - it is also an ecommerce auction house, business to business model and they just mentioned this stock on CNBC for its rapid rise. It closed at 2 1/2 on 1-26-99; on 2-11-99 it closed at 45 3/8 and closed yesterday at 96 1/4 Today it has traded up 14 points higher. The rapid rise in this stock is indicative of the interest in ecommerce sites and seems to me that BII could have a similar profile ?? Especially when the Ireland office opens....
