Part of the problem here is that the news wasn't really "news". An
announcement that we are holding talks with someone isn't the same
as announcing that XYZ company has signed a contract for X amount
of dollars that will be worth 100Mil sometime in the future. What
will be news is when we can announce a signed contract for our services. What today's announcement represents is just a progress
report on the company. Positive to be sure, but not what the street
needs in terms of investment dollars pouring into the stock. Looks
promising though.

Hey jm,
You are correct regarding Freerealtime.com. The last news that they have listed is from 2/26. They also picked up the news from 2/23, 2/22 & 2/19. Business & Investing by Quicken.com does show today's news.
I have seen a lot of news on various companies put out by Reuters. It would be a big plus to have BETT's news covered by Reuters. How does a company go about getting Reuters to pick up and issue news on a company?
I thought today's news was great. "...first step of eConnect to establish itself as the global service gate of choice..." That would mean that BETT does not have to worry about generating revenue from the United States. By the time the United States starts regulating internet gaming activities in the U.S., eConnect will be well established.
I look forward to reading the 1998 10-K to see how BETT's other agreements and / or ventures are going, ie) shop-while-you-wait, Globalot Bingo,SBI Communications, EZ Communications, etc.
It has been very interesting being a BETT shareholder.
Go BETT!! Go Tom!!! Scoobey
