LOL Chicken. And you're right. How come Penni doesn't see that? Poke poke poke, we keep poking her. There's enough right there for a book.

Jeez.

Stinky jeez man.

I love The Stinky Cheese Man book.

My favorite story in it is The Really Ugly Duckling.

My guess is you prefer the Chicken Little story.

The illustrations are superb.

I LOVED the Stinky CHeese Man!!!! WHen the boys were in private school I ran the Book Fair, and got to read all the new books, but mine were too old for that one by then. Wonderful stories--much better than Mr Small's Auto which was CW's favorite when he was 3. I hated that book. ANd Ammo's was "WHere Is My Mother?" EVery night.
THe little bird said "Are YOU my mother?"
ANd the big truck said, "No I am not your mother."
ANd the little bird said,
"Are YOU my mother?"
ANd the dog said, "No I'm not your---"

That's really a very sad story! DOesn't it make you hurt for the STinky C-Man? Does Luke want to chase him to make him feel better?
When I was little, I read a story about a little kitten who needed a home. So he went out to the street corner and no one would take him and the next day he put baby powder on to make himself smell pretty so maybe then someone would want him.
My god- I wanted that kitten so bad, I wanted to hold him and tell him how much I wanted him even if he smelled terrible.. Even as a child, I understood the raw truth of that story. I mean- don't we all do that? Try to make ourselves attractive- ANd hope someone likes us well enough to take us home?
