You are right. I forgot that one. It is very important. Financing is from venture capitalists. I do not know much about the management team, except that they do have medical device sales experience. I am not invested in the company. The two heart surgeons that are currently involved in implanting the device are top notch and very respected. DeBakey would not have allowed the device to be named after him if he didn't think the management team was sound and the device viable.

World Heart should know by now what are the blood cell damage and blood clotting levels for the HeartSaver. I think they have a good design. The many device failures during animal trials would worry me though. They need several animal implants with durations of several months with no problems before even considering human trials. I may be missing some data thats been published, so I'll do a better search. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards
Mindshare

Bad news for the population at large but good news for Worldheart!

They just had a docummentary on "heart disease on CTV". The prediction is that in 5-10 years there will be 3 times the number of people that currently suffer heart disease, suffering from this problem!

AGM is mid May, everyone should be getting their "annual report shortly" I will be going to the AGM, any questions pass them to me by PM!
