I think MSFT had a sniff around MUCP back in 1997. Probably thought they were no threat then.

Your point is very, very important. Get the bleedin' product to market !! And of course the biggest threat from MSFT is not their products as we all know. Its their muscle and that bottomless pile of cash......Money talks, whether it is lavish marketing campaigns or more likely strategic investments.
