Dennis, my read on this sharp sell-off is profit-taking. Oracle has had any incredible run since October; and YTD, it's up 30%. The price already reflects an upside earnings surprise, IMO. It's not altogether irrational to want to protect your profits. I know I was tempted to sell before this earnings announcement. There is still some albeit small down-side risk. If you want to be sure, you take your money off the table. Even if Oracle runs to 42 tomorrow (treetopflier's optimistic prediction), it'll retrace back to the mid-30s again and you can buy back in. Whatever you do, make sure you're on this train by Spring. IMO, Oracle is on the cusp of another big run.
