right, but then Anthony would have to change the % depending on what margin he was using. And, the same would apply for longs.

Aegis,

You hve to look at it from your entry point, i.e. your risk point. If you put 10m at risk (short) and cover at 8, you made 2m or 20%, whereas if you put 8m at risk (long) and sell at 10, you made 2m or 25%. I know exactly what you're saying, but you have to look at it as the gain made vs. the money at risk, I think.
