Archer/Anthony: Q's 1) about taxes, if you're a US citizen, then you have to declare all the profits from offshore accts, correct? so what are the advantages of the offshore accts? 2) how are you able to obtain the shares to short? 3) how do you borrow shares if they are not available for borrowing? it sounds like you have no problem getting shares to short. That is the biggest problem in shorting, imo. First, there is a check for availability. Then, that delay does not permit you short at the price you want.
