CNBC says they will talk about digital film projection stuff on their show at 6:00 P.M. today (New York time).

(I don't even know if that time slot's show is a 30 minute or a 60 minute show. It is "The Edge.")

Jon.

$80!! Yayyy! Looks as though the natural home in the 40s has been left. We have lower limit black hole convergence. Time to median convergence might be short then inflation will happen quickly, sort of like the Big Black Hole divergence/inflation/explosion or whatever you want to call it, was rapid, from the point of view of an observer situated now, though seen from inside, things might have been 'slower' or whatever you want to call the rate of 'expansion', if that's what you want to call the perceived red-shift suggestion of increased 'distance' if that's what you want to call it, [this is technical analysis since this thread has diverged into DellHead/Yahoo! forum where perceived value is all and the trend is your friend].

With money printing going quickly, globalization accelerating [despite China getting silly about Taiwan and some murder in Uganda] and cdmaOne taking off faster than a Zenit with WWeb a short term promise in the inflationary expansion of The New Paradigm, the sky is the limit. How high can an imagination fly?

Today is 12 March here! 12 March is when things happen in a cusp-like form - I have no idea why. I suppose 12 March tomorrow there will see Dow 10000. It seems appropriate though 'appropriate' is never necessarily in the Big Game Plan. When WERE the Ides of March anyway? And why beware them? Too bad...

So the Big Dipper did a drop to just under $40 a share and here we are double that. Wasn't that fun! Feeling giddy? The ride is just beginning but the fun has begun. They are meeting in Brazil. The quarter is blowing out. The production lines are sizzling and even infrastructure sales look okay to me with the cute little QCell coming along.

What say you Little Chicken? When will the sky fall?

The doomsters forget that people inherently want things to get better so they try to make them like that. While they might make lots of mistakes, the bias is to better. With a 5% bias, the sky can be reached quite quickly. There are 5 billion people alive now with a 5% bias. That is a LOT more than 1 billion at the turn of the century living in largely rural peasantry with a 1% bias. This is the driving force of The New Paradigm.

We in Q! have invested in a 60% bias! That can do VERY well VERY quickly. As it has. From IPO $9 in 1991 we are at nine times that level with revenue, profits and prospects to match.

PS: Unfortunately, I think my golf mean won't deflate as quickly as Q! stock will inflate. C'est la vie.

Back on crude oil - the price jumped $1 and that pushes the Dow up for some perverse reason such as the oil stocks go up, which moves the index which makes people buy the index in a loony feedback loop. High oil prices are BAD for nearly everyone. Cheap oil is good and the stock market should go up because of THAT. Meanwhile, The Economist has written an article [plagiarized from me] that Saudi Arabia and some others are bound to open the taps because it is not possible to agree production cuts to boost prices sufficiently to give them the money they want. Opening the Taps will cause prices to drop to maybe $5 a barrel as everyone starts storing and guzzling to take all that is produced. Saudi Arabia, like Globalstar, can undercut the competitors and sell all their volume thereby maximizing their revenue and profit. Bad luck for the competitors who shouldn't have drilled expensive wells out in the ocean. Competitors will have to shut down uneconomic units.

This is great news for the USA, as proven by the whining which will come from the 747s taking of en masse as hordes of people enjoy cheap travel and despite the whining like 747s which will come from the oil boardrooms and financial donors to political parties from within the oil baron quarters. Microsoft and Q! are more important to the USA than the Rockefellers now. I doubt that most Americans would even have heard of the Rockefellers and wouldn't have a clue what David Rockefeller used to do. Oil has had it's day. They have heard of $ill Gates and Microsoft. $ill is having his day [unfortunately, some of it in court]. Qualcomm's day is just arriving though most Americans would still not have heard of Q!

Let's hope the USA military doesn't mistakenly bomb any more Iraqi oil pipelines as they did recently. They said 'ooops' but I heard they have smart bombs and can drop a bomb in a barrel from 40,000 feet. Well, that was a claim from the second world war but I saw a picture of children with napalm so they either intended that or couldn't aim straight. I guess they aimed straight at Hiroshima where LOTS and LOTS of children were cooked alive. Those children apparently had 'collective guilt by association' from the USA point of view, [ref Globalstar thread collective guilt discussions with David Wiggins and Bertrand, The Arrogant FrogMan], just as the Nazis shot all the men in a village [not even the chidren] in collective guilt punishment. I bet the women of Hiroshima would rather have been living in the Nazi village than My Lai or Hiroshima. Some Nanking Chinese and soon to be shot or starved NZ soldiers or prisoners of war would say 'Good, that stopped them!'.

Just to recall that things can get VERY VERY VERY terrible even though The New Paradigm looks good right now. Surely China/Taiwan/USA won't achieve such a debacle again though they are planning it. Let's hope nobody gets loose with bombs any time soon. We'll all lose!

Oops, definitely off topic now! Oh well, it is 12 March 1999 and it makes up for some brief posts....

On with The New Paradigm!
