Thoughts while away:

Short term trading is too time consuming, too risky, and not nearly as profitable as it is rumored to be. Frankly, I am burned out on it.

I am looking now for solid, midterm position plays. Holds of 2 to 6 months, checked once a week or so. Mostly longs, unless the market tanks (showing signs of that...).

Traditional BTTT rules apply: mid-term to long-term trend established, with short-term correction. Stochastics, et. al. used for entries and exits.

FACT: my imaginary $10,000 plunked away in DELL, CSCO, MSFT, YHOO and AMZN has returned an equally imaginary (unfortunately) 40% per month for the last 4 months! No work, no fuss. That is what I want.

Let's find the next DELL's and MSFT's. And let's think about getting into newly established monsters like YHOO and AMZN (AMZN is looking very good today, in fact)...Buy and hold, buying more on dips, and rotating out the laggards.

Looking for that no-sweat 300% AROI...

But can the bulls last much longer...?

TC.
