Hi John,
I am also very much reminded of the situation one year ago.

And I remember how careful the Saudis have been not to excite false hopes before these meetings.
Now this time they and others are grinning and pointing up. (figuratively. <g>)

It seems many stock traders now see uncertainty ahead, a history of disappointments, and a nice rise from recent lows. Deciding to take profits here is perfectly reasonable.

But I think we are going to see good news from the producers.
I expect a return to more historically normal oil prices, and all that means for the drillers et al.
Just mvho, of course.

Also--
you know that expression "A bull market climbs a wall of worry."? Slider has become much more cautious, and I take that as a sign that we are now at the beginning of a bull market.<G>
