Cramer did not spread any rumor. Faber on CNBC announced at 3:00 that there is conference call today --dealing with Office revenue recognition and possible earnings guidance.

Like I said --Lots of Luck to longs.
MSFT does not have a history of earnings warnings--but given the rumored PC slump, could it be a first?

My GUESS is it will be a net positive. If they were going to blow out this quarter also, it would be good idea to preannounce since it would be bad Public relations to blow out the quarter going into the rebuttal phase of the trial.
Just my guess (or hope/prayer)

Cramer is just echoing what was being talked about on the floor. He doesn't wield that much power.

In fact, Faber was talking about the conference call at about 3:20 on CNBC.
