Imaging Technologies Licenses Agfa's New Balanced Screening Technology

Imaging Technologies Corp.(Nasdaq:ITEC), pioneer in the development of digital imaging solutions, announced today it will license the Agfa Balanced Screening (ABS) Technology for use in future printer and OEM image management controller products.
Agfa Balanced Screening Technology is a conventional, halftone screening system that uses "supercell" techniques and pre-calculated, balanced screen sets to deliver high quality color reproduction.

Agfa Balanced Screening is designed to minimize printer noise and to produce consistency in image quality within a page, from page to page, over time and across different devices. ABS minimizes color balance shifts due to registration error, optimizes color gamut, neutral balance and neutral balance stability, diffuses jaggedness and subject moire minimizes banding and eliminates "rainbow" effects.
