Seems like my .30 is sorta consistent with the $30 share price. Should the stock be worth a dollar more or less for every penny above or below .30 that it turns in??? CPQ has had the crap kicked out of it. 1999 earnings estimates are what, 1.73? If they lowered that to 1.50 right now, the stock would still only have a pe of only 20. Seems like somewhere here CPQ becomes a value. MSFT CC starts NOW! El

I want to say up front that I own CPQ and continue to be long,but
wonder why.The management seems to be hiding from their shareholders.
A broker from New York called me this morning wanting me to short
Cpq which I do not do.He had ratio data on Cpq vs dell,Cpq vs ibm,
and Cpq vs gtw.Said they feel Cpq will sell 40% less than dell which
could put Cpq into high teens!Somebody at Cpq needs to step up to
the plate and give us some creditable information!
