Bob, unwilling to take the time to track this rumor down, it looks to me like another one of those totally baseless rumors people who invest in less than great, low priced stocks periodically concoct with the hope of getting buyers interest in the stock, thereby pushing it up. I did not look at the IOM thread but I just got a detailed quote for it over at Yahoo. Here, take a look: quote.yahoo.com It was up 10% today, all the way to 5 1/2 on just under double the daily volume when the only news from the company was _bad_--they had to recall "60,000 Power Supply Units on Jaz Drives." Hype, has the makings for a 100% false rumor intended to keep people who already hold shares hopeful (IOM's price will 'rocket') and entice new investors in for the speculated, "everyone's talking about this rumor so it must be true," "takeover" play.
