Does anyone have a handle on EPAY and its relationship to the Fed system? Are they a competitor? EPAY certainly has boomed in price recently. Any comments welcome. Long CKFR; no position in EPAY.

Why this stock deserves an "internet like" valuation.

EBPP is a killer app, in fact it's a whole new category unto itself. Electronic bill payment was/is a non-starter. People like to know where their money is going. Billers gained a little efficientcy, but lost a degree of contact with the end customer.

EBPP is a new animal. The fact that it more than pays for itself is just icing on the cake. The establishment of REGULAR BI-DIRECTIONAL contact with the ultimate customer is the payoff. Imagine the marketing, cross selling, customer service, co-marketing alliance, and customer research opportunities. I'm sure there are others I can't even dream up. All guaranteed to occur each and every month. What is that worth to a corporation? And my God it even saves us money!

I bet getting EBPP online will become a major initiative of every major biller within the next 12 - 24 months. And all the smaller guys will follow.

And Checkfree is not only smack in the middle of this major emerging e-commerce trend, but they just might be able to establish a dominating position.

We ain't seen nothing yet IMO. Am I irrational?
