Burt, To be more succinct - AMD is in a death spiral. They can't execute well enough and fast enough to compete profitably. Each reported quarterly loss eats up shareholder equity and borrowing power. And remember that this is a daily occurrence - we only hear about it quarterly. They are bleeding profusely and the tourniquet is being loosened by Intel. Unless they can figure a way to make money, they will ultimately bleed to death unless they receive a large transfusion. I don't see any donors lining up and rushing to try to resurrect this still living corpse. Barry
