Take a look at 3COM a couple of weeks ago. The trouble with these types of stocks is that it's very dangerous to hold them the night of the earnings announcement. You're better off selling a couple of days before and buying back a couple of days later.

Then you didn't recall October, 1997, when ORCL dropped about 9 points before the open. They missed earnings then, too.
